Virtual Doula Services

It’s a crazy time right now

So many things are changing, including how I’m supporting my clients as your doula and things that I am offering. Getting into hospitals have become almost impossible (which is understandable given the goal of slowing the spread of C-19). And as much as the birth community wants to storm the front of the hospital with you to be able to support you while you birth your baby it’s not going to happen. Not even with the recommendations from AWHONN and ACOG.

So we have to adapt because people are still going to give birth. Babies don’t care about a pandemic. So what can I do to still support you in preparing for the birth experience you desire and how can I support you in trying to achieve that experience during such strict hospital policies?

Virtual Doula Services

Virtual doula services that’s how. You will be getting the same amount of support, it just won’t be in person, because you know #socialdistancing.

You’ll get:

  1. Two prenatal meetings through a video chat service (like FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, What’s App, etc) to go over any questions, concerns, and to build/go over your birth preferences.

  2. Labor/Birth support through texts, calls, and a video chat service.

  3. Postpartum support for the first 3 weeks through texts and phone calls.

Best of Both Worlds

This service will also be 45% cheaper than my normal doula fee 😱 because I won’t be there in person. You save money while still being able to receive support, validation, and the ability to pick my brain and utilize my resources!

I’ve been to essentially every hospital in San Diego and the Temecula Valley, as well as most of the hospitals in Riverside. I have a plethora of resources and people I can contact if there’s anything I can’t answer or am unaware of.

I try and stick to evidence based information, but I also value eastern medicine/holistic recommendations as well. My goal is for you to have a very rounded base of knowledge that you can pick from when making decisions regarding the birth of your baby. This is a one time event. I want you to be able to make decisions from in the moment from education not fear. There’s too much of that going on at the moment.

We want peace and relaxation. We want you to focus and bake that baby in love and trust.

Trust your baby. Trust your body. Trust the process.
