SAY WHAT!? I know crazy right?
Moving to the central Illinois area will be a MASSIVE change for me. Coming from a fairly established place with my business in Southern California to starting from scratch in an entire new state is daunting and exciting all wrapped into one beautiful present.
So I’m thinking of offering my first few clients in Illinois something special. Something as a sort of welcome to myself. But you all get to benefit!
I want to explore the area with you!
I don’t ever discount birth photography unless I’m looking for something specific (aka model calls) but I want my first few birth photography clients to receive something special as a thank you for welcoming me into their birth space as a transplant (aka stranger to the midwest ways 😂).
SO:
I want to find new spots to take gorgeous photos 😍
AND
I want to connect with new birthing people in the Peoria, Bloomington, and Decatur.
I want to network with new care providers (OB’s and Midwives) and fellow birth workers.
I want to experience the birth community when I get there, and jump right in.
So this was what I thought of 🥰

For the birth photography side: I know there are a few hospitals currently allowing a photographer who is also a certified doula (of which I am!) as well as birth workers who have received the Covid vaccine (of which I have) so coming into your birth space if you’re birthing in a hospital setting as your doulatog is perfect! As for out of hospital births, as long as they are allowing you to have a photographer and everyone attending your birth is healthy, I will be there (as long as I’m not at another birth 😂 but I’ll have a back up) 💕
For the maternity/gestation side: It would be a lifestyle session out in the beautiful surrounding nature. Wear whatever you want! This is all about you and this new bundle of love you’re bringing into the world (and yes your partner [if applicable] can totally come as well as other children if you have them)!
